Covid-19: 335 New Cases And Three Additional Deaths

The Department of Health has confirmed 335  new cases of Covid-19.

They have been notified of three additional death related to the virus.

Of the cases notified today, 162 cases are among men while 171 are women.

Most people -64% - are aged under 45 years of age.

The median age is 45.

Most cases, 119, are in Dublin.

Elsewhere, there are 29 cases in Kilkenny, 23 in Limerick, 20 in Donegal, 19 in Tipperary and 19 in Cork.

The remaining 109 cases are spread across 19 counties.

Meanwhile, there have been 15 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.

In total, 246 Covid patients are being treated in hospital, 35 of whom are in intensive care.

The 14 Day incidence rate is estimated to be 103.9 per 100,00 population.
