Molly-Mae Hague talks Love Island

Love Island 2019 runner-up Molly-Mae Hague insists she, "always knew," she was going to be on the show.

She made the revelation in an Instagram Stories post this week.

During a Q&A, Molly-Mae was asked, 'Do you believe in manifesting/spiritually...'

The social media influencer went on to reveal she knew from a young age that she'd be on Love Island.

"This is the one time that I do believe manifesting really truly did work in my life..." The 21-year-old said.

The reality star explained that she's been watching the show since she was about 15.

"And it wasn't like an aspiration of mine to go on Love Island," she continued, "but I used to say to my mum and my dad, my family and my friends, 'I'm going to go on Love Island one day, like I just know it's going to happen for me. I'm going to be on that show.'"

Molly-Mae revealed, "For three or four years I believed it, I knew it, I was just waiting for the day to come basically."

She recalled the moment she got a message from ITV, inviting her in for an audition.

"And it wasn't even a gasp moment for me because it was almost like I was just waiting for that day to come."

"It's just the one time I really really believed in manifestation and I do when I look back on it, I really do believe it's got to be true because I almost thought it into existence."

"You either believe in it or you don't but that's my story with it," Molly-Mae concluded.

Molly-Mae appeared on the 2019 series of the show, where she met her boyfriend Tommy Fury.

The pair have been pretty much inseparable ever since.

They made it to the final of the show, but lost out on the winning title to Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.
