The documentary will follow the early stages of Britney's career and her rise to fame.

It'll also document her, 'ensuing conservatorship battle,' amid the #FreeBritney movement.

It's reported there'll be interviews with those close to Britney as well as the lawyers involved in the conservatorship case.

The pop-star's father Jamie Spears have been her conservator for the last 12 years.

This deems him responsible for almost every aspect of her life.

He was acting as co-conservator alongside lawyer Andrew M Wallet, until Wallet resigned in 2019.

Last summer, Britney requested that her father step away from the situation entirely.

However, according to E! News, the judge declined the request and extended the conservatorship until September 2021.

Wallet broke his silence on the situation in an interview with MailOnline last October.

Wallet breaks his silence

He told them, 'It is not in Britney's best interests to be outside the conservatorship but there's a lot of politics involved.'

'Protecting her assets is very important and for that the conservatorship has to stay in place because she is susceptible to undue influences.'

This case sparked the #FreeBritney movement.

Those in support of Britney have been protesting to have the artist freed from the conservatorship.

And fans are delighted the documentary is highlighting the situation.

Framing Britney Spears drops February 5th.
