Love Island bosses have responded to claims Molly-Mae and Maura knew each other before the show.

The two Islanders haven't had the best time getting along in the villa, after they almost immediately found themselves fighting over  Tommy Fury.

After Tommy picked Molly-Mae in the latest recouping, she and Maura quickly became best friends.

New reports have suggested that the reason they were able to make up so fast was because they actually knew each other outside the villa.

The pair were said to have been spotted out for dinner in Dubai earlier this year.

with a source saying they looked like "really good mates."

However, a spokesperson for Love Island has now rubbished the claims the pair knew each other before the villa.

The ITV show told  Metro.co.uk  "Maura and Molly-Mae have never met previously to meeting in the villa,"

Well Guess that settles it, so.
