Our good friends over in @Limerick_IT  have supplied us with a host of exam tips to help you through the next few weeks of the Leaving Cert. Keep an eye out for these daily tips for some last few nuggets of wisdom to give you that extra edge going into your exams! #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tip #1 – Wake up early

Getting to an exam can be stressful enough without the added pressure of being late! Avoid this unnecessary stress by simply getting up early and giving yourself plenty of time to eat a good breakfast and getting to your exam on time. #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tip #2 – Check the exam venue

Imagine arriving to you exam on time and then realising you went to the wrong room or building! Avoid this potential heart failure and double check the venue and time of the exam to make sure that you have not confused the day/time/venue. #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tip #3 – Eat Right

Make sure to eat a good balanced breakfast the morning of your exam. Don’t eat anything that may upset your stomach (last thing you need is an emergency toilet trip in the middle of your exam). Avoid this by eating a breakfast that you are used to and one which is high in energy like porridge or fruit. #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tip #4 – Know the marking scheme

It’s very important to know the marks each individual question is worth. Divide your exam time between each question giving yourself more time to answer questions worth more marks. It’s important to make sure you leave enough time spare at the end to review each question also! #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tip #5 – PMA (Positive Mental Attitude)

Positivity is important in every facet of life and no more so than in an exam situation. Have confidence in yourself! You have done all the study, your brain is full of information you have been learning for years. Just get it all out on that paper. Simples! #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tip #6 – Don’t be afraid to ask the examiner a question

Mistakes can be made on exam papers when printed. If something is not reading right to you do not be afraid to raise your query. Examiners are there to help you if any issue occurs during your exam, do not be afraid to ask them questions. #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tip #6 – Don’t freak out over a brain freeze

We all suffer a momentary brain freeze from time to time. If you suffer a serious and sudden loss of memory during an exam do not panic, simply keep writing and your memory will start flooding back and away you go! #LITexamtips

@Limerick_IT Exam Tips #7 – Start with your strongest question

The questions on your exam paper do not have to be answered in order. It’s always a good idea to start with the section/question you are most confident in answering. Once you get into the flow of it you will be able to work your way through each question. #LITexamtips
