About Astellas (Tralee Plant): A Bio-pharmaceutical fill finish facility in the final stages of construction with commissioning beginning in January 2026. Construction started in March 2024 and the first commercial production is expected to be produced in early 2028. It is expected that there will be over 120 full time roles as well as contractors and employment from outsourced services, making the Tralee Plant an important employer in the town and the county of Kerry.
