Liam Reardon's family release statement

Love Island's Liam Reardon has been facing heavy criticism online following his antics in the Casa Amor villa.

His family have since released a statement admitting they're, 'gutted,' at the thought of Millie and Liam breaking up.

However, they wish the online trolls would back off.

Liam had been in a coupling with Millie before he left for Casa Amor, and they were great together.

Unfortunately, the Casa Amor shock twist is tearing them apart.

While she's remaining loyal in the main villa, he's cracking on with new girl Lillie, and Millie has no idea.

Liam's family release statement

Liam's sister Niamh, who's been looking after his social media for him, has since released a statement.

She wrote, 'Hey guys sorry it’s been quiet on here, I’ve been up in London and only now catching up on everything.'

'We are also gutted at the thought of Liam and Millie ending and are sending positive vibes into the villa.'

Niamh continued, 'We hope it’s not the end but we do hope they both find their perfect match even if that means it’s not together.'

'With that being said please remember that this a reality television programme and Liam’s family and friends can see everything that’s being posted.'

'There is really no need for nasty, vulgar and death related messages. Please keep it light and remember to be kind.'

'He’s my younger brother'

This comes days after Niamh tweeted, 'Remember there is a family member/family friends behind all contestants accounts.'

'Understandably with this type of reality programme there will be various judgments and reactions but any vile, vulgar or threatening messages will not be tolerated.'

'He’s my younger brother,' she concluded.

In other Love Island news, Lucinda Strafford has finally addressed claims she's still in a relationship with Irish footballer Aaron Connolly.
