Jared Leto took part in a 12 day desert retreat and had no idea about the coronavirus pandemic until he arrived home over the weekend.

The actor/ artist took to social media to comment on the current situation.

Years ago I wrote a song called City of Angels after coming home to L.A. after a long tour. There’s something mythical about Los Angeles. It has certainly been a magical place for me, not necessarily because of the landscape and the weather but because of the community. It’s a group of likeminded people that come together and look for ways to make the impossible possible

'We were totally isolated. No phone, no communication etc.'
