Get ready for a Halloween morning of running, community and fun as Bridge United A.F.C. hosts its Halloween 5K & 10K on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at 10am in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare.
Open to runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities, the event offers a choice of two distances, making it ideal whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a relaxed morning out with friends and family.
This event is about much more than race times. It celebrates sport, the local community and Bridge United’s proud footballing history, bringing people together for a welcoming Halloween occasion.
Both routes will take participants through the local area, passing locations connected with the club’s history and offering a chance to experience Sixmilebridge from a different perspective.
Fancy adding a spooky twist to your running gear? Halloween costumes are encouraged but completely optional, so you can dress up or stick with your favourite trainers and running kit.
There’s also a reward waiting at the finish line, with every finisher receiving a special event medal to mark their achievement.
Situated close to Shannon and within easy reach of Limerick and Ennis, Sixmilebridge is a handy destination for a Halloween morning challenge.
