Conor McGregor and his one-time friend and sparring partner have settled a multi-million-euro lawsuit over the sale of his whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve.

The details of the out-of-court settlement were not made public.

Proper No. Twelve was sold five years ago for over €500m.

For his majority stake, Conor McGregor is said to have made over €100m.

Artem Lobov claimed he had a 5% stake in the whiskey brand.

He claimed he was the one who came up with the idea of McGregor lending his name to a new Irish whiskey and that he got it off the ground.

However, McGregor disputed the claims, and the matter was all set for a High Court battle.

However, at the eleventh hour, the two sides were able to reach an agreed settlement behind closed doors.

McGregor said he was satisfied it had been resolved and thanked his former sparring partner for his hard work for his whiskey business.
