Three new acts have been added to the Electric Picnic line-up.

Amble, Van Morrision and rising star Aaron Rowe will take to the stage in Stradbally at the end of the month.

It comes after organisers recently confirmed Lewis Capaldi will headline the opening night of this year’s festival.

He joins Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C. at the top of the bill.

Meanwhile, Dylan Moran, Dawn O'Porter, and Blindboy are among the acts set to appear on the Mindfield Stage later this month.

Kerry-born CNN correspondent Donie O’Sullivan, Happy Mondays’ vocalist Rowetta, and Nicola Tallant’s Crime World Podcast will also take part in Mindfield, the weekend’s annual arena of ideas, spoken word, and politics.

The theme will centre on America’s recent 250th birthday in titles like 'Divorcing the Superpower: The US, Europe and the Next 250 Years' and 'Move Fast and Break the State: The Politics of Populism and the Broligarchy.'

The festival takes place from the 28th to the 30th of August.
