Covid-19: 474 New Cases And 3 Further Deaths

Health officials have reported 474 new Covid cases and 3 further deaths this evening.

167 of today's cases are in Dublin.

Of the cases notified today:

•239 are men / 232 are women
•71% are under 45 years of age
•The median age is 32 years old

As of 8am today, 155 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 44 are in ICU. 14 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.

Elsehwere, there are 39 new cases in Kildare, 37 in Cork, 36 in Donegal and 29 in Meath.

The remaining cases spread across all counties.

The four counties with 0 cases today are; Mayo, Sligo, Kerry and Leitrim.

While the counties that have fewer than 5 new cases in nine counties including Kerry, Clare and Cork.
