The Department of Health has been notified of 35 deaths related to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
29 of those deaths occurred this month while 6 happened in January.
Statement from the National Public Health Emergency Team@hpscireland has today been notified of 35 additional deaths related to #COVID19.

The median age of those who died is 84, with the age range between 63 and 96.
Meanwhile, the Department has also been notified of 1,047 new cases of the virus.
505 of today's cases are identified in men while 540 are in women.
Most people -58% - are under 45 years of age.
The median age is 38 years old.
Most of today's cases were identified in Dublin, where there are 292 new cases.
Elsewhere, there are 119 cases in Cork, 76 in Wexford, 60 in Limerick and 47 in Kildare.
The remaining 453 cases are spread across all other counties
Meanwhile, there have been 51 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there are 1,221Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 181 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day incident rate is estimated to be 369 cases per 100,000 population.
Community Effort Should Stamp Down Community Transmission
The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has appealed to the public to keep up their efforts.
