CAO 2020: Points Released For The Most Popular Courses

CAO offers

The first round of CAO offers have been released.

Points for most college courses have increased compared to last year.

The Central Applications Office has issued 78,950   Round One Offers to 53,815 CAO applicants.

Here's a look at the 2020 points required for some of the country's most in-demand courses:

This year’s Leaving Cert results, published earlier this week, were significantly higher than previous years as a result of the calculated grades process.

Average grades were up 4.4% on the previous year as a result of the system, introduced as a result of COVID-19.

Applicants who have not received an offer will receive a Statement of Application e-mail.

Offers must be accepted by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, 16 September.
