The Ellen Show

Three senior producers have left The Ellen Show.

It follows reports staff are being mistreated behind the scenes of the talk show.

As reported by Variety, executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman have been ousted.

Co-executive producer Jonathan Norman will also be leaving the show.

A spokeswoman for Warner Bros. confirmed to Variety that all three have, 'parted ways,' with the show.

Meanwhile, Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner and Derek Westervelt will continue working as executive producers.

The latter three have been with the show since it began in 2003.

And Andy has become a big part of the on-screen team.

Delivering the news

According to Variety, the news was delivered to staff over video call this week.

Multiple sources told the outlet that Ellen DeGeneres became very emotional as she addressed about 200 staffers.

The host was allegedly very apologetic, before reminding her team that she's, 'not perfect.'

She explained that team leaders were so focused on making the show run as a, 'well-oiled machine.'

And in doing that, they were not as sensitive to, 'human beings,' as they should have been.

Ellen also noted that some staff members, and often guests, have been alienated as a result of last minute changes to shooting timetables.

As per Variety, she vowed this will not happen again.

In future, they'll stick to the original plan so that the production process is smoother.

They're also going to be running diversity and inclusion workshops for all staff members, including Ellen.

It was also announced during the call that resident DJ, Stephen tWitch Boss has been promoted to co-executive producer.

Ellen also slammed claims that staff members have been told not to speak to her if they see her.

She allegedly called this, 'crazy,' and, 'not true.'

However, the TV host admitted she considers herself a bit of an, 'introvert.'

Ellen apologised to anyone who felt, 'disregarded,' behind the scenes of the show.

Ellen hasn't made any comment to the public.
