Michael O'Leary vs. Elon Musk: Tensions Heating Up

Billionaire Elon Musk has floated the idea that he may buy Ryanair.

The Space X owner has been involved in an online spat with the Irish airline over the usefulness of Wifi on planes.

Speaking last week on Newstalk, Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary called Musk an "idiot" and says he won't install Starlink on his planes.

Musk then posted a poll on his X profile, asking supporters if he should buy the airline as revenge.

He's also threatened to "restore Ryan as their rightful ruler" - perhaps referring to 71 year old Tony Ryan who co-founded the group back in 1984.

Today, O'Leary is expected to respond to Musk at a press conference called by Ryanair

The Ryanair CEO's promised to address Musk's "latest Twitshit".

Musk has continued to slate the airline boss on X - a platform O'Leary called a "cesspit".
