The Department of Health has confirmed 6,110 new cases of Covid-19.
They have been notified of six additional death related to the virus.
Of the cases notified today, 2,911 are men while 3,195 are women.
Most people -63% - are aged under 45 years of age.
The median age is 36 years old.

Most cases of Covid-19 are in Dublin, where there are 3655 cases.
Elsewhere, there are 323 cases in Kildare, 291 in Cork, 234 in Limerick and 137 in Louth.
The remaining 1,470 cases are spread across all other counties
Meanwhile, there have been 92 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there are 776 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 70 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day Incident Rate is estimated to be 582.8 per 100,000 population.
NPHET Warn Of Concerning Levels Of Hospital Admissions
NPHET's Professor Philip Nolan has warned that hospital admissions could surge as rate of infection rises.
"Scenario models raise the possibility of 1,500 to 2,000 people in hospital, and 200-400 people in ICU by mid-January, if we do not act radically reduce transmission and incidence."
Professor Nolan appealed to the public to continue to abide by level five restrictions.

The NPHET epidemiologist said "We're seeing numbers I never anticipated having to report."
