Temperatures could hit 32 degrees in places today.

More hot weather's on the cards, with a status yellow high temperature warning in place.

The hottest temperature in the country was in the Phoenix Park in Dublin yesterday at 29.3 degrees.

Head of Forecasting at Met Éireann Evelyn Cusack says the peak of the hot weather will hit today.

It's set to be a week for the sunnies but a new survey shows young people are less likely to wear them.

Two thirds of 18 to 24 year olds say say they don't bother with sun glasses.

That figure rises more than half in every other age group, with over 60 percent of over 55s wearing shades regularly.
