Baby it's cold outside!

Christmas may be a month away but it's starting to get real cold outside.

According to Met Eireann, temperatures are set to drop to -3 degrees this week.

The weather forecaster is saying that Tuesday night won't drop below 4 to 8 degrees and will maintain right through to Thursday.

Then on Thursday it's set to drop as low as -3 degrees, which is set to stay the same over Friday and the weekend.

The weekend looks set to be dry and sunny for much of the country. Some rain will affect southern counties through Saturday though. Cold and crisp with highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees. Cold and frosty nights with temperatures near or below zero countrywide.
