Young designers from around the world will descend on the capital for the Junk Kouture World Festival in Dublin next month.
60 international design teams will make their way to the Helix in DCU for the 16th edition of the competition.
The event, running from February 23rd to 25th, will see hopeful teams from Ireland, the UK, France, Italy, the USA, and the UAE present their designs made from recycled materials in the hopes of taking home the World Designer of the Year title.
The competition is open to 12-19 year olds, with a focus on promoting sustainability, showcasing Ireland’s pivotal role in promoting youth creativity and circular innovation.
