According to reports, he was there to support the facility's faith-based programs.

The artist's massive RV was photographed pulling into the California State Prison of L.A. County during the week.
This caused quite a lot of confusion, which TMZ managed to clear up fairly quickly.
It turns out he was there with his pastor, sharing their belief in God.

A rep for the prison told the outlet that the warden signed off on their brief visit.
As quoted by TMZ, they were supporting, 'faith-based programs,' at the facility.
However, it's unclear whether the Biebs performed or just gave a talk.
