With over 100 entries from some of the most talented DJs across Ireland and following much deliberation from our judges, SPIN are proud to announce the final three DJs who will be going head to head in SPIN's #RaceForTheResidency!

Meet your finalists:

RICHARD MAGLOV

Please introduce yourself and tell us your reaction to being in the final for SPIN's Race for the Residency:

'My name is Richard Maglov aka Richie. Im a 22 year old DJ and Producer from Longford, Ireland.'

'I've been making music and DJing since 2013 in hope of getting somewhere with it one day. I've never gained any traction really as I've been doing this independently all this time. This is my first competition I've ever progressed in of many that Ive entered so to say I'm over the moon is an understatement!'

SYMONE KATUS

Please introduce yourself and tell us your reaction to being in the final for SPIN's Race for the Residency:

'My name is Symone, I’m from Wexford but based in Waterford for many years.'

'I started off DJing in early 2018, originally learning how to mix tech house / deep house and later dipping into techno & 90s trance! I have a mixed spectrum of musical influences, taking inspiration anywhere from the likes of Dom Dolla, Patrick Topping, Green Velvet to the rolling bass lines of CLTX or to the euphoric buzz of DJ Heartstring.'

'I eat, sleep and breathe music! I am deeply ingrained in the music scene in Ireland but especially Waterford, having established my own music collective, Enigma. We have welcomed DJs from Ireland and further afield, while organising a mix series that gives a platform to local artists allowing them to showcase their skills!'

'Having my own residency with SPIN would be the dream, having wanted to get into radio for quite some time now, I feel like I was made for this!'

KAYCEE

Please introduce yourself and tell us your reaction to being in the final for SPIN's Race for the Residency:

KAYCEE (aka Casey Keating) has been making waves in the underground scene with an impressive array of shows under her belt in recent years.

The 26 year old Dub has taken many back with her electrifying sets exhibiting extreme diversity and is most definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Best known for her up front and bouncy sets often playing some of irelands largest events & festivals up and down the country the future is growing brighter for this young selector as this is only the start.
