Beoga had an extra special moment at their Sydney gig this week when longtime collaborator Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance.
The Irish folk group, who are currently touring Australia and supporting Sheeran on his ‘Loop’ tour, were performing at Paddington RSL on February 12 when the global superstar joined them on stage. Together, they treated the crowd to a performance of “Shape of You,” sending fans into a frenzy.

Beoga and Sheeran have a strong musical history, having worked together on “Galway Girl” and “Nancy Mulligan” from his 2017 album ÷ (Divide). Their latest onstage reunion felt like a full-circle moment for fans of the collaboration.
Sheeran’s ‘Loop’ tour marks his return to Australia and New Zealand with a revamped live show. After opening in Auckland and playing Perth, the tour now heads to Sydney before continuing on to Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.
