'It's meant a lot.'
An American influencer who went viral for sharing her love story turned heartbreak with an Irish man, says she's been blown away by the support of Irish women.
Theresa Rowley's story sparked huge conversation when she revealed she was flying from Dallas to Dublin to spend a week with a man she met online.
The story ended in tears, with a very public break-up which went even more viral.
However, the comedian says she's finding the positives in the ordeal such as feeling the wave of support from the women of Ireland.
"I feel very supported. It's kind of ironic really, when I lost the relationship it was a tough blow for me, I was pretty heartbroken. ButIi've really never felt quite so taken care of, than I did at that time, by Irish women. So it's really meant a lot to me."
She says she's also gained opportunities, such as getting to come back to Ireland for work with brands.
To mark the launch of My Centra, the company is flying in the US actress and comedian to see if the nation can restore her faith.
In partnership with Your Friend, My Friend, Centra is hosting an in-person dating event, with Theresa as VIP guest of honour, to give Theresa and Irish singles a chance to find loyalty.
The event will take place on the 11th June, at 7 PM at Old Fashioned Sam’s in Dublin.
