A teenager has died after he fell off a tractor in Galway last week.
It happened on Wednesday evening, August 30th, in Sylane, west of Tuam
The 16 year old was brought to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin to be treated for serious injuries following the accident. Sadly, he passed away in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have video footage to come forward.
It comes as the RSA renews its road safety appeal following a "devastating" year for motorists.
129 people have lost their lives on Irish roads so far in 2023.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic incident which occurred at Sylane in Tuam, Co. Galway on Wednesday evening, 30th August 2023.
