Jessie's mother Marina, said it's a special moment as they prepared to board the Aer Lingus flight taking them to Los Angeles today.
Her proud father Tim added that they will celebrate regardless of the outcome.
The Killarney native has been nominated for Best Actress for her role in Hamnet.
The ceremony takes place overnight Sunday and after sweeping up all the major awards so far this season, there are high hopes of an Oscar win.
