The mother of four who was found dead at her home in Kerry last week has been remembered as a "lioness" who was "a force of nature".
75 year old Miriam Burns was discovered dead at her home in Ardshanavooly, Killarney last Monday and a murder investigation has been launched.
Thousands attended a prayer service in her honour at St Mary's Cathedral yesterday with a private cremation taking place today.
Her daughter Sharon told mourners her mother was "brimful of compassion and love" who gave her children everything in life.
