Gimme1000
Gimme1000 is a virtual event that will take place on Saturday, 20th February 2021.
Participants will be challenged to complete 1,000 reps of an exercise of their choice within a 24 hour period.
Common examples include push ups, squats, burpees and lunges.

TrainM8 are encouraging everyone to get creative.
And they're leaving it open to interpretation, meaning it's totally up to you how you choose to give 1000.
This is all in support of The Irish Cancer Society and Pieta House.

Due to the pandemic, both organisations are unable to run their respective flagship events, Daffodil Day and Darkness into Light.
These two events are a vital source of funds to keep the essential service that they provide up and running.
Now more than ever it's important to stay active and look after our physical and mental wellbeing.

Last year they raised €55,000, and this year, they're aiming higher.
They're asking you to join them in their efforts to get 1,000 people to complete 1,000,0000 reps and raise €100,000.
