A community in Dublin has been playing bingo to pass the time while social distancing.

A block of flats in Ringsend came together to play communal bingo.

By the end there was a winner.

People have been using their creativeness during the outbreak to come up with ways to communicate.

A lot of people took part in virtual table quizzes last night.

Users took to platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom  to have joint parties.

Another trend which has taken off is artists hosting living room gigs.

Chris Martin from Coldplay was one of the first to do the #TogetherAtHome initiative.

While Gavin James gave practically a full concert from his house.

The HSE is urging people to keep their social distance if they're leaving the house this weekend.

President Michael D Higgins says irresponsible action by people during the Covid 19 pandemic puts all of us at risk.

He's particularly appealed to young people to tell their friends about the importance of social distancing.
