Nearly A Third Of Coronavirus Cases In Ireland Are Under 34

The Department of Health released more information on confirmed coronavirus cases last night

More details about confirmed coronavirus cases have been revealed by the Department of Health.

74 new cases were confirmed by the Department last night, bringing the total to 366 in the Republic.

Of the first 271 cases in the country, most are linked to travel, a fifth are healthcare workers and almost a third of those with it are under the age of 34.

Dublin has the highest number of cases with 129, followed by Cork with 48 and Limerick with 14

There have been no confirmed cases so far in Leitrim, Laois or Monaghan.

The advice to people is to reduce social contacts to close family and practice social distancing
