A teenager who died after being hit by a car in Limerick on Sunday has been named locally.
Donnacha Ryan from Cappaghmore died following the incident at Dromsally at around 4am yesterday morning.
The popular sportsman only celebrated his 18th birthday on Wednesday.
Gardai are investigating the incident and are asking any witnesses to contact them.
