Tennis Star Novak Djokovic has evaded deportation for now this is despite having his visa revoked by the Australian Government for the second time.

The Serb's lawyers will attempt to appeal against the decision once again this coming Sunday.

Djokovic who is unvaccinated against Covid-19, wants to successfully defend his Australian Open title next week.

The competition takes place in Melbourne next week and many fear that Djokovic's detention will affect his performance.

British tennis star Andy Murray says it's ''bad for the sport, bad for the tournament and bad for the Australian government''.

Murray thinks the issue should be resolved quickly for the sake of the sport, adding that it takes away from a great competition.
