Robert Pattinson to return as Batman

Following a successful debut as the Caped Crusader, Warner Bros. have confirmed Robert Pattinson will return as Batman.

And Matt Reeves will be back to write and direct the new movie.

The studio announced the news during their presentation at CinemaCon this week.

According to Variety, Reeves was there for the announcement, but no further details were revealed.

It follows the release of The Batman in March, which did incredibly well.

The film had the biggest opening weekend of 2022, and it became only the second film since the pandemic to cross the $100 million mark.

Spider-Man: No Way Home was the first pandemic-era film to do it.

To date, The Batman has brought in $759 million at the global box office.

Taking on the role of Bruce Wayne is a massive responsibility, one that hasn't gone down well with previous actors.

So you can imagine how nervous and excited Robert Pattinson was to see how fans would react to his version of the character.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, he admitted, "I haven't been this scared to release a movie in such a long time."

The Batman is out in cinemas now.
