Nickelodeon celebrates Pride month
In a tweet over the weekend Nickelodeon celebrated Pride Month with some of their LGBTQ+ aligned characters.
The tweet was shared with an image of SpongeBob in a rainbow striped tie and his body covered in a rainbow colours.
Nickelodeon also named characters Schwoz Schwartz from 'Henry Danger' and Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender spin-off 'Legends of Korra' as allies "for this month and every month".

SpongeBob SquarePants has been been on our screens since 1999.
So far there's been 12 seasons, 262 episodes and two feature-length films. ,
A third movie, Sponge On The Run, was due to be released in May but has now been rescheduled for release in August.
