Derry Girls

Netflix have taken Derry Girls season two down off the streaming service.

It turns out they accidentally released it too soon.

Netflix tweeted, 'UPDATE: it looks like we were a bit early with this one so have had to take season two down for now.'

'We'll let you know when it's coming back as soon as we can.'

'In the meantime, it's available now on All 4.'

It was four days on the streaming service before they announced today that they've taken it down.

On the day of its release, Clare actress Nicola Coughlan tweeted, '#DerryGirls Series 2 is now on @NetflixUK & Ireland!'

'Expect dead sheep, US Presidents, and This & That'

The season was doing so well on Netflix and was sitting at number one on the top 10 list.

Nicola tweeted, 'This is so class, thank you, thank you, thank you'

'#DerryGirls Series 2 now streaming on @NetflixUK & Ireland We’re Number One lads!'

Reactions

Fans have been reacting to the news on Twitter.

Some are fuming they didn't get the chance to watch it while it was up.

While others are delighted they binged it in one sitting, 'Watched it all Sunday, jackpot.'

A new release date hasn't yet been confirmed.
