Netflix has just kicked off the month with some deadly news; The Vampire Diaries has returned.
They tweeted, 'Update: The Vampire Diaries has returned to Netflix UK/IE, if that's your kind of thing'

Fans were devastated when the series was removed from the streamer November 1st 2020.
TVD ran from 2009 to 2017, and has been available to watch on Netflix for a number of years now.
At the time, one fan tweeted, 'Netflix really did look at 2020 and go what could make this worse??'

While another tweeted, 'Netflix acts like we don’t all got Halloween movies to watch.'
'Now we’re all gonna have to watch the whole Vampire Diaries series in a month, again.'
And another threatened to unsubscribe from the service.

The Vampire Diaries
TVD follows the story of a teenage girl named Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) who just lost her parents in a car crash.
Suddenly, vampire brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore (Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder) arrive in town.

Their romance becomes increasingly complicated by the antics of his dangerous older brother Damon.
Damon returns to Mystic Falls to bring back their long lost love Katherine Pierce, who looks exactly like Elena.
