The cast of the Gossip Girl reboot were photographed filming on The Met Museum's iconic steps this week.
Fans of the original show will remember it as the common meeting place for Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf.
Production on the reboot had been put on hold amid the pandemic.
However, it was revealed in September that filming would resume at the end of October.
According to Variety, filming is set to take place across Vancouver, New York and Los Angeles.
What we know about the reboot
The Hollywood Reporter provided a log-line for the new series last year:
'Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl.'
'The prestige series will address just how much social media - and the landscape of New York itself - has changed in the intervening years.'
Writer and producer Joshua Safran discussed the reboot during an appearance at the Vulture Festival in 2019.
He said, 'It's just a new look at this particular society in New York, the idea being that society changes constantly.'
'So how has this world changed, how has social media and its effect changed?'
Safran went on, 'All of those things allow us to look at the world 12 years on as opposed to just re-doing the story.'
'None of us are interested in just re-doing a story.'
The cast
The original cast will not return for the upcoming reboot.
However, Kristen Bell will reprise her role as the iconic voice of Gossip Girl to narrate the new series.

Emily Alyn Lind
Emily's best known for her role as Ariel in Code Black and as a young Amanda Clarke in Revenge.
She'll play a teen named Audrey in the reboot.
Whitney Peak
Whitney played Judith Blackwood in the Netflix hit Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
She also played Stella in the 2017 movie Molly's Game.
Eli Brown
Eli played Dylan Walker in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.
He's also quite the musician - the actor often shares videos of himself playing guitar on Instagram.
Johnathan Fernandez
Jonathan's best known for his role as Scorsese in the 2016 movie Lethal Weapon.
He lists his interests in his Instagram bio, 'Acting, Fashion, Fitness, Motorcycle. I style myself.'
