On Monday, the people of social media went crazy after hearing that PepsiCo were thinking of launching Doritos for women. A recent interview with the CEO of the company Indra Nooyi in which she mentioned that:
“Women don’t like to pour the little broken pieces and the flavour into their mouth; they don’t like to crunch too loudly in public. And they don’t lick their fingers generously”
Social media users absolutely lost their plot but Doritos released a tweet yesterday saying:
“We already have Doritos for women - they're called Doritos, and they're enjoyed by millions of people every day.”
So there you have it, we won’t be getting ‘Lady Doritos’ after all.
