Home Workout Routines

If the coronavirus has you stuck inside trying to find different ways to stay active, this might come in handy.

Here's our guide to staying active at home:

Youtube

Don't worry if you don't have any equipment to work with at home.

There are plenty of no equipment workout routines to follow on YouTube that are just as good.

Here's a fully body workout from Pamela Reif:

Pamela's a great account to follow!

She has no equipment routines to work out your abs, butt, thighs, calves, legs etc.

And what's even better is that they're all nice and short.

It's also important to warm up before you start your routine.

Here's a handy YouTube video to get you ready for your workout.

Nicole goes through different techniques from skipping to jumping jacks.

Social Media

If YouTube isn't your thing, there are plenty of great accounts to follow on social media.

Start Your Day Fresh! Food is your fuel and eating nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day is a great way to complement your workouts. I love eating a big, healthy breakfast and then refuel with a high protein dinner to recharge my muscles. The problem I was having though was eating junk food in between teaching fitness classes. I’d grab something like potato chips to snack on while I commuted from one gym to the next. I ended up feeling sluggish, weighed down, and unable to get the best workout. . I decided to take on the #FreshFormationChallenge with @freshandconyc to see how I’d feel if I ate healthy, nutritious food throughout the day for three days straight. And wow did it make all the difference! I had a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, veggie “meats”, soups, salads, smoothies, and healthy snacks like Açaí Goodness, Smashed Avocado Toast, and Lemon Braised Kale! I felt more energetic and ready to take on my workouts! With so many healthy options, made with fresh ingredients, Fresh & Co really lives up to its name! Swipe left to see some of the deliciousness I had and check out @freshandconyc for more healthy options! . #FreshFormationChallenge #FreshAndCo #FreshAndCoNYC #StartYourDayFresh #FreshFood #HealthyFood #HealthyOptions #FruitsAndVeggies
