The 2026 Cook Medical Mini Marathon is back on Sunday 4th October.

Over 4,000 participants from all over Ireland are expected to take part in the event which takes place at the University of Limerick, with participants of all ages walking, jogging, or running the 5 km and 10 km courses.

SPIN Southwest are delighted to be back onboard as the Official Media Partners.

Each year, the event raises vital funds for local and national charities. Participants can link their race signup to a personally chosen charity through a dedicated online platform, Give2you, with all proceeds going directly to their chosen charity.

Speaking about the event, Race Director John Cleary said, “The Cook Medical Mini Marathon is an event that truly brings people together. Year after year, we see incredible support from across the country, with participants taking part not just for the challenge, but to make a meaningful difference for charities. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the start line this October.”

The Mini Marathon kicks off at 12 pm.

All participants will receive a 2026 race top and a 2026 commemorative medal.
