Picture This and Dermot Kennedy have announced the rescheduled dates for their summer 2020 shows.

It follows the Government's decision to extend restrictions for mass gatherings until August 31^st 2020.

Dermot Kennedy

The Irish artist was due to play a number of shows across the country this summer.

However, he's had to reschedule due to the current global pandemic.

In a statement, Dermot said, 'Ireland, I’m afraid all our shows for this June are being rescheduled to June next year.'

'All tickets will remain valid. I’m very sorry we don’t get to play these shows this year, but it’s so necessary, as you all know.'

Picture This were due to play Irish Independent Park, Cork and Malahide Castle, Dublin this summer.

In a statement, the boys said, 'It’s with a heavy heart that we have to reschedule the summer shows until 2021.'

'Under the advice of the government it’s the safest thing to do right now.'
