A chat with the Dating Amber stars
Sarina Bellissimo caught up with the stars of Dating Amber this week.
Fionn O'Shea spoke about how his character in Dating Amber is very different to his character in Normal People.
While Lola Petticrew admitted she gets very protective of Fionn when it comes to online trolling.
Secondary school
Fionn and Lola play secondary school students Eddie and Amber in their new movie.
Sarina asked what secondary school was like for them growing up.
The Normal People star replied, "All the people who say, 'God, my high school years were the best years in my life.'"
"I'm like, 'What school did these people go to?'"
Fionn insisted he did love his school years, "But you couldn't pay me to go back!"
Lola added, "It'd be awful if you peaked then! What are the rest of the years for if that's where you peak?"
Fionn continued, "Yeah 'cause if you're like the best year of my life was when I was 14... It's just like you've a long way to go yet!"

Meanwhile, Lola admitted she couldn't wait to get out of school.
She said, "I think my head was always somewhere in the future. But I had amazing pals!"
Lola revealed she's still best friends with her pals from school.
Lockdown
Lola and Fionn decided to isolate together after they became such good friends on set.
Fionn explained that they just got on really well from the moment they met.
He said, "We just became best pals which is a really special thing I think."
Normal People
Fionn is well known for his role as Jamie in the hit TV series Normal People.
He was branded the villain of the year by many on social media for his part in the film.
And he told Sarina that it was nice to play a role he had never really played before.

Lola added that some people on social media forget that Fionn is nothing like his Normal People character.
She said, "I can get quite defensive... It takes a lot for me to not tweet back at people online when they say mean things."
"I'm like, 'But he's a dote! He's the biggest dote!'"

Sarina admitted Jamie is, "Not well liked," and Fionn pointed out that, "Not well liked," is putting it kindly.
Lola added, "The most hated man in Ireland at the minute."
