Taylor Swift seemingly responds to leaked footage

Taylor Swift has seemingly responded to the leaked footage of her full phone call with Kanye West.

The pair have been arguing for years over what exactly was said during this particular phone call.

And it turns out Taylor had been telling the truth the whole time.

In 2016, seven years after Kanye stole Taylor's thunder at the VMAs, he released a song called Famous.

The track sparked major controversy for its lyrics, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x / Why? I made that bi**h famous."

Understandably, Taylor was less than impressed by Kanye branding her a, "bi**h," in the song.

Kanye came out to say Taylor had given her seal of approval on the lyrics prior to its release.

So Taylor responded through her publicist, 'Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account.'

'She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.'

'Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bi**h famous.’'

So Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian released a snippet of footage showing a phone call that took place between Kanye and Taylor prior to the track's release.

It showed the rapper getting permission from Taylor to use the derogatory language about her in his song.

After Kim released this footage, Taylor faced wide-spread criticism and even stepped away from social media for some time.

The truth

Over the weekend, the alleged full 25 minute footage of Taylor's phone call with Kanye emerged online.

It revealed Taylor had been telling the truth the whole time and that she never agreed to being called a, 'bi**h,' in the song.

During the phone call, Kanye tells Taylor he's included a, "very controversial line," about her in the track.

Taylor nervously asks if it's, "mean," and Kanye responds, "No, I don't think it's mean."

He tells her the line, "To all my Southside n***as that know me best / I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me s*x."

Taylor laughs, "That's not mean! I'm glad it's not mean though..."

She goes on, "but like oh my God, the build-up you gave it, I thought it was gonna be like, 'That stupid, dumb bi**h. But it's not.'"

Kanye goes on to ask, "OK, now what if later in the song I was also to have said, uh...'I made her famous?'"

Seemingly referring to him crashing her VMAs speech in 2009, Taylor responds, "It's just kind of like, whatever, at this point."

"But I mean, you've got to tell the story the way that it happened to you and the way that you've experienced it."

Taylor points out, "Like, you honestly didn't know who I was before that."

"Like, it doesn't matter if I sold seven million of that album before you did that, which is what happened."

"You didn't know who I was before that. It's fine. But, um, yeah. I can't wait to hear it."

Taylor's response

While Taylor hasn't made any official comment, she has responded by liking supportive fan remarks on Tumblr.

According to E! News, Taylor liked a fan post that read, 'How I sleep at night knowing we were right all this time and now we have the receipts to prove it.'

And another that read, 'Taylor told the truth...'
