Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello
In Wonder, the brand new Shawn Mendes documentary, dropped on Netflix yesterday.
It gives us an insight into his his relationship with childhood friends, his family and his girlfriend, Camila Cabello.
The Señorita singers even share the story of how they first met all those years ago.

Shawn recalled, "She was in Fifth Harmony and we were both opening."
"My favorite first tour ever and she was the act after me."
"I was the first in the lineup, with the shortest set, and then they went on... five years ago, man."
Camila recalled, "He was so super hyper-focused on what he was doing."
"I never saw him that whole tour. He was constantly going in and out of his bus, like playing guitar, writing songs with Geoff."
"I thought he was cute. But, I was like, 'He's doing other stuff, so whatever.'"

She continued, "I guess it must've been four or five years ago, we were backstage at this Taylor Swift show."
"I went to his dressing room to say hi and we like started writing [I Know What You Did Last Summer]."
They started spending a lot of time together after writing the song.
The "saga" begins
Camila recalled, "We did a whole Jingle Ball tour together."
"And that's really when the f**king saga started. I really liked him."
"I guess he liked me, but I don't really know," she admitted.
Shawn added, "For the past like four years, just being friends and not being able to see each other very often, to finally be able to be together, she was always there to look after me as a human being."
"She's got my back, and I think that's what your partner's for."

Cuteness overload
In the documentary, Shawn also revealed that every song he's written is about her.
He said, "She literally had no idea. This whole time, I thought she like knew."
"I don't think I'll able to write songs that really do it justice that can really capture the things and the feelings with her."

Shawn compared it to taking a photo of the moon and the stars with your iPhone.
He elaborated, "It just doesn't look good. And you're like, 'It's not supposed to be captured.'"
"It's just supposed to be for us," the 22-year-old stated.
