He recently announced that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have been cast as Glinda and Elphaba in the movie.

Ariana announced the news with screenshots of herself on Face Time with Erivo and Chu.

She also posted a picture of a pink bouquet of flowers she received from Cynthia.

On them, a note reads: "Pink goes good with green"

It goes on, 'Congratulations Miss A, the part was made for you, I look forward to sharing this musical journey with you.'
