Dani Dyer & Jack Fincham don't live together

Although they're still together and very much in love, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham no longer live in the same apartment.

Dyer says they need time to grow separately and build their relationship back up.

The Love Island star revealed all in an interview with Fabulous Magazine this week.

When the lease on their shared property in London came up, they felt it was time to branch out and live apart.

'Jack didn’t want to live in Essex and I didn’t want to live in south London...'

'We thought we’d both get our own places and live between them.'

The 23-year-old explains where it all went wrong.

'We’d both moved out of our areas and to Wapping together, where we had none of our home comforts.'

'It’s nice to have my own company sometimes. I can watch what I want.'

'When Jack’s there, he puts all these bird programmes on.'

'When we buy a house, then we can decide where to live, but for the time being we’ve got to grow.'

'We’re building [the relationship] back up slowly.'

The Love Island winners broke up last year

Jack and Dani went through a bit of a rough patch last year.

They had a fight which lead to Dani announcing their split on Instagram.

However, she later cleared up that it was just a silly fight and they're still together.

People started to think their relationship was all for publicity.

Some even believed they were contracted to stay together for a certain period of time.

Dyer however, shut down these claims, 'we didn’t have to stay together if we didn’t want to.'

'We were never contracted to do anything like that. That is not a ‘thing’, and if it is it should be illegal.'

'People love a conspiracy theory, don’t they?'

'Instead of being like: ‘Fair enough, they’ve got back together,’ they’d prefer to see it another way.'

'I would never get back with someone because of that. That would be pathetic.'

She confirms, 'We got back together because we wanted to.'

Love Island

The happy couple met in the Love Island villa last Summer.

Nearly seven months on, Dani admits the 'honeymoon period' is most definitely over.

'So, within two weeks you’re talking about your feelings and telling someone you like them...'

'Whereas it takes months to get there in the real world.'

'In the villa it’s beautiful, and in the moment everything is so perfect...'

It seems life outside the villa isn't all its cracked up to be.

'Things are more difficult in the real world. That’s where you get to know the person and you learn their faults.'

'On Love Island everything is done for you so you don’t have to think about anything.'

'Suddenly you come home and you’re arguing and bickering and silly things become an issue.'

'We’d both come out of a bubble and were trying to adapt to this new world.'

Jack & Dani need their privacy

The couple have decided to keep their relationship out of the public eye.

'We’re now trying to keep things personal, because that’s how things last.'

'We’d prefer to enjoy each other privately, rather than parading it constantly.'

She admits they argue a lot when their relationship is so public.

'With relationships, you want to bring out the best in each other and we were bringing out the worst.'

'I didn’t like it when we were arguing... You just end up being miserable around each other.'
