Cheryl was not happy when she saw the pair get close
Former Girls Aloud star, Cheryl, was at home when she saw then boyfriend, Liam Payne get close to Rita while performing their Fifty Shades Freed duet on Jimmy Fallon in 2018.
The Sun have reported that Cheryl sent Rita a heated text after the performance, saying That’s my boyfriend and the father of my child you’re flirting with — it’s disrespectful. Do you really think that’s necessary?
The fued has reportedly been cleared since however with a source saying the two agreed to move on from the tension.
Cheryl and Liam split in July that year
After three years together the couple split in July 2018 but said they are still friends and plan to raise their son, Bear, together.
