Despite its victory at the 2022 contest, Ukraine won’t be able to host Eurovision 2023 because of Russia’s ongoing war.

There are already talks in the works with the BBC about the UK possibly hosting the prestigious contest next year.

A number of British cities have already pitched their interest in hosting the contest.

The contest brings a huge amount of revenue to a country and city area and is seen as an economic booster by city councils.

Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and London are rumored to be cities that have already put their name in the hat.

Tipped to be the favourite is the city of Glasgow.

The Scottish city is home to Eurovision 1969 winner Lulu and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK champion Lawrence Chaney.
