A Cappuccino and a coffin to go please...
This cafe "Kid Mai" (Think New), in Thailand offers a very unique experience. The cafe is trying to get it customers to experience death awareness by getting them to hop into the coffin for 3 minutes.
Understandably not all of the customers have been to keen on going into the coffin, however there have been a few.
Veeranut Rojanaprapa hopes his new venture will teach Thai folks – most of whom are Buddhist – about the benefits of being “death aware”.
He claims that by spending a few minutes in the dark isolation of a coffin, Thailand’s technology-obsessed younger generation will be forced to rethink their life choices.
They even have death themed drinks, and a 10% discount is offered to customers that lie inside the coffin.
