Wildfires which have claimed the lives of five people are continuing to rage across northern California.
Thousands of people are being evacuated from their homes as hundreds of buildings have been destroyed.
Among the dead are two young children and their 70-year old great-grandmother in the city of Redding.

Thousands of people have been ordered to evacuate their homes as the fires enter their sixth day.
Cal Fire Operations Chief, Steve Crawford says it's worse than ever before:
"Every single person that I've talked to so far has made the mention that I don't know why its doing what its doing its burning differently its burning more aggressive."
